Whether you fly, build, restore or simply enjoy airplanes and aviation, you are welcome to attend our events and join our chapter. We are a group of aviation enthusiasts, aircraft builders, and pilots who get together with like minded people to share ideas, exchange information, encourage safety, serve the local aviation community and have a lot of fun doing so. We also invite you to visit EAA Chapter 857 through the links listed to the left and consider either coming to our monthly meetings or else joining us at one of our tasty fly-in breakfasts.
If you are eight through seventeen years old and wish to experience a flight in a general aviation aircraft, then you should come to one of our Young Eagles days and enjoy a no-cost ride in an airplane. Contact our Young Eagles Co-ordinator Debie Santolla at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Our chapter and its members are frequently involved in different activities -- demonstrating building techniques, taking part in other aviation endeavors, improving the airport, building or rebuilding airplanes, or just sharing our knowledge and fondness for flying.
Come for a visit; stay for the fun.
EAA Chapter 857 is located at the Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport, K. W. Scholter Field, KBTP.
